Root canal treatment
Don't put off going to the dentist if you feel there is something wrong with your teeth or if you haven't had a preventive check-up for a long time. Dental cavities are a common problem and if caught early, treatment is simple and quick.
Sometimes, however, tooth decay progresses and the nerve inside the tooth can become damaged and subsequently die, which needs to be treated. In this case, we perform endodontics, i.e. root canal treatment. This is the last way to save the tooth itself.
Careful cleaning and disinfection of all canals is absolutely crucial, as it is necessary to remove any infection. In our practice, we use magnifying glasses or a microscope during this procedure to ensure you get the best possible result and to make sure that we have cleaned the canals completely. We then fill the root canals with a definitive filling to ensure the treatment has a long-lasting effect.
This treatment is performed under local anesthesia, so it is painless and you have nothing to worry about.
Do not delay this treatment. Neglecting to do so can mean spreading bacteria from the affected tooth further into your jaw, surrounding tissues and blood, which is a threat to your overall health.
