Modern imaging methods

Thanks to state-of-the-art X-rays and imaging methods, our doctors can quickly obtain a detailed 3D image of a specific part of your mouth. This allows them to accurately and efficiently make a diagnosis, but also to perform more complicated procedures in a way that is as gentle as possible for you.

This treatment is gentle and need not be feared. Compared to a CT scan in a hospital, the total radiation dose is up to 50 times lower.

WHAT ARE THE OCCASIONS WHEN X-RAYS ARE USED IN OUR PRACTICES?

  • Implantology - preparation and application of the implant ("screw") into the bone
  • Extraction (pulling) of non-standardly placed teeth
  • Endodontics - root canal treatment

We also perform these examinations on patients of other physicians who do not have this technique at their disposal. We can then provide you with the results, along with the imaging software itself, so that your dentist can evaluate them on his or her computer.
