Examination for Lyme disease

Have you found a tick attached to yourself, your pet or a pet and you are not sure if you have contracted Borrelia, tick-borne encephalitis or other tick-borne infections (Anaplasma/Ehrlichia, Babesia, Bartonella)? Our laboratory is the only one in the country that offers a comprehensive approach for tick and Lyme disease testing. Blood testing - if the tick is positive, you can have blood drawn to test for antibodies and have the blood drawn again in two months to compare the results to see if the tick has infected you. If so, you will start treatment with antibiotics after consulting your doctor. Diagnosing Lyme disease is complicated and requires a specialized approach. We combine a number of methods in the examination. We test for antibodies to borrelia from the blood (IgG and IgM) and test for the presence of borrelia in the urine. 

Tested parameters: antibodies (IgG and IgM) DNA analysis for all pathogenic Borrelia species
